Hungry for Insects

What did our ancestors eat? How did they augment their nutrition? What were their secrets?

During this time, I harvested a weaver ant nest for the first time in my life and wondered where they featured in our ancestral culinary history. This story was my first step towards discovering the deep and complex history of entomophagy, or the practice of eating insects, in India.
